Florida is ranked 4th highest in nursing facility residents in the country. Many are poorly staffed and undertrained leading to neglect of the most vulnerable in our population. Frequent issues at nursing homes are falls, pressure sores, malnutrition and dehydration. These preventable issues frequently lead to the patient’s untimely death.
Florida law requires a pre-suit period before filing a lawsuit against a nursing home or assisted living facility (ALF). Jennifer Lipinski and her team will review medical records and obtain experts to determine if the facility deviated from the standard of care and caused harm to the patient.
